How to Make Weight Watchers Banana Pancakes Recipe?

The preparation time is less than 5 minutes all you need to do is blend all the ingredients and start cooking them! Cook pancakes for about 2 minutes on each side. Check them frequently because they can easily get burned.

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • Half a tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

It’s hard to keep Weight Watchers diet when you have kids in the family. But this recipe is so great especially because adults on a diet and kids will all love these pancakes!

You can add fresh blueberries to decorate the pancakes or use sliced banana like I did. Both options are not only aesthetically pleasing, but they also provide an additional burst of natural sweetness and nutritional benefits. And they add zero WW points!

For an even healthier option, add a sprinkle of chia seeds or a dollop of Greek yogurt on top. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even make a homemade fruit compote or syrup.
The addition of fruit not only brightens up your plate, but it also helps you reach your daily recommended fruit intake.

Recipe Tips and Tricks to Make Weight Watchers Banana Pancakes

1. Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter your pancakes will be without adding extra sugar or sweeteners. Overripe bananas also mash and blend easily, creating softer and moister pancakes.
2. Gluten-free option: If you follow a gluten-free diet, you can substitute regular flour with almond or coconut flour for equally delicious pancakes.
3. Check the heat: Ensure your griddle or frying pan is at the right temperature before you start cooking. A medium heat works best for pancakes.
4. Perfect portions: To ensure pancakes cook evenly and have a consistent size, try using an ice cream scoop or measuring cup to pour out the batter.
5. Use Non-Stick Spray: Use a non-stick spray to easily flip your pancakes and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
6. Don’t over-mix: Over-mixing the batter can lead to tough pancakes. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
7. Add-ins: Try adding other fruits, nuts, or spices for additional flavor or texture. Some good options are blueberries, strawberries, walnuts, or cinnamon.
8. Patience is key: Wait until bubbles appear on the surface of the pancakes and then flip. Rushing this process could result in undercooked pancakes.
9. Serve immediately: Pancakes are best served hot, right off the griddle. You can also keep them warm in a low-heat oven while preparing the remaining batches.
10. Zero-point toppings: To keep the dish low in points, opt for zero-point toppings like sugar-free syrup, Greek yogurt, or fresh fruits.
Remember, the high fiber content in these pancakes makes them super filling so they keep you satisfied for a good amount of time!

  1. It was very tasty and much better than the original WW Banana Pancakes that didn’t fluff at all. I had some issues flipping the pancakes though. I cooked it on med-high. Should I cook it lower so it has more time to firm up a little? It was still yummy though just not as pretty as your picture.

Hi Wanda! This particular recipe is for flourless pancakes, it doesn’t need flour. If they get sticky, please check tip #5. Use a non-stick spray to easily flip your pancakes and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
