What I love about this recipe is that although this is a healthier version of your buffalo wings, you can still get the same taste without removing the buffalo sauce from the recipe! This makes it a perfect appetizer or side dish for all ages and occasions.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – I recommend using a 1/2 head of cauliflower that is already broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce – you can use your favorite buffalo sauce (e.g. Frank’s red hot buffalo sauce, etc.)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil – this will help the seasoning stick to your cauliflower easily plus make it crispy!
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder – to add some extra flavor to your cauliflower bites
  • 1/2 tsp Salt – to taste
  • Your favorite dipping sauce – ranch dressing, french onion dip, hot sauce, or any of your favorite creamy dip
  • Celery – optional but a great pairing!

Instructions

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized cauliflower florets if you have not yet.

Transfer the cauliflower to a large bowl and gently stir with all the remaining ingredients to coat the cauliflower. (buffalo sauce, garlic powder, olive oil, salt).

Grease your air fryer then place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure you do not overcrowd the cauliflower bits.

Cook at 375 degrees F for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the pieces are slightly brown.

How to store your buffalo cauliflower

If you have some leftover buffalo cauliflower or you want to save them for another day, you can store your buffalo cauliflower in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

To reheat, place the cauliflower back in the air fryer for a few minutes so that it can become crispy again.

Is this air fryer buffalo cauliflower recipe healthy?

If you are wondering if this air fryer buffalo cauliflower recipe is healthy then my answer to that is yes! This recipe is vegan-friendly and low carb, too!

In general, cauliflower is high in fiber and B vitamins. It also is rich in antioxidants that can protect against cancer. Cauliflower is fat-free and cholesterol-free and it is low in sodium.

And because you are using an air fryer, you can retain these health benefits because you will not be using tons of oil to cook the cauliflower! Unlike deep frying which is very unhealthy, you will only be using a few drops of oil and let the air fryer do its thing!
