Once October 31st arrives, you already know what to expect (and do). Kids and even adults of all ages will dress up in their spookiest Halloween costumes and stroll through the neighborhood, knock on your door, and ask for some Halloween treats, Halloween foods and Halloween foods for your kids. These activities are also one of the reasons why Halloween is one of the most anticipated holidays throughout the whole year. Now, you must always remember to fill up your Halloween goodie bag with some delicious treats that kids will love such as candies and chocolates.
But if you are tired of bringing out the same candies every year and you want something more exciting (and useful) to give that won’t last them just a day, then it is also perfectly acceptable to give out non-candy treats. Just make sure they are something that kids will enjoy! Some examples are toys, school supplies they can show off to their friends, and many more!

How do you make edible spiders for Halloween?
Let’s be real, spiders are quite terrifying to look at and that is why they are absolutely perfect in being a Halloween decor. But did you also know you can make your own edible spiders (that looks appetizing of course!). You can add some edible spiders in your table in the form of cupcakes, chocolate bars, Halloween cakes, candies, and more!
To make your own edible spiders, you just need:
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon butter
- Large marshmallows
- 1 package of chow mein noodles
- 1 package of mini candy-coated chocolate pieces
Directions
In a microwaveable bowl, combine your chocolate chips and butter and put them into the microwave until everything is melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Then, pour the chocolate into a sealable plastic bag and set aside.
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Bring out your marshmallow and chow mein noodles. Stick the chow mein noodles into each side of the marshmallow for the spider legs. Get the bag of your melted chocolate and cut one corner to make a hole. Drizzle the chocolate over the marshmallow spiders and attach two candies to each marshmallow for eyes. Wait and chill until the chocolate hardens.
