With that said, in this article, I will give you a step-by-step guide and the best practices on how you can grow your monthly viewers on Pinterest.

1. Optimize Your Pinterest Profile
Your Pinterest profile is what users will first see once they visit your account. To get Pinterest users to stay at your account longer, you need a Pinterest account that’s clear, professional, and optimized for search.
Use a profile name that includes relevant keywords for your niche. For example, if you blog about healthy recipes, consider including “Healthy Recipes” in your profile name.
Write a short bio that tells people what you’re about. Use keywords related to your content to make it easier for people to find you.
For your profile picture, use a clear, professional-looking profile picture or your business logo. Users are more likely to follow and engage with profiles that look legitimate and trustworthy.
Make sure your profile links to your website, blog, or online shop if you have one. This helps build credibility and directs traffic from Pinterest to your site for free!

You always have to remember that Pinterest relies on visual content. So, to improve your Pinterest strategy and get more views, you need to create high-quality Pins that stand out so you can reach your target audience.
To design pins and new content to get more viewers, I recommend creating vertical Pins with a ratio of 2:3 (1000 x 1500 pixels). Vertical Pins take up more space in the Pinterest feed, making them more noticeable.
Use high-quality, bright images that catch the eye. Avoid dark or blurry photos.
Add clear and bold text overlays to your Pins to explain what the content is about. This makes it easy for people to understand your Pin at a glance.
For example, if your content is about Christmas decoration, use a high-quality image of a Christmas-themed living room with bright colors and add text like “Christmas Decoration Ideas” in bold, easy-to-read font.

Write detailed descriptions for your Pins using natural-sounding sentences that include your main keywords – do not keyword stuff. Aim for 100-150 characters.
You can also Pinterest’s search bar to find popular keywords related to your niche. Type in a broad keyword and see what suggestions come up—these are often popular search terms that you can use in your descriptions.
It is also important to note to use keywords on your Pinterest bio, as well as Pinterest board titles and descriptions.

Schedule the posting times with an interval of 7 days to be safe just so Pinterest will not flag you as spam.

Schedule your Pins to go live when your audience is most active. For example, evenings and weekends tend to be good times to post, but this can vary based on your audience.

Visit the Pinterest Trends tool to see what’s popular in your niche. For example, if “Halloween costume” is trending, you can create Pins or blog posts related to that topic if it is related to the niche you are in.
