15. Amazing Semi Naked Cake
And I’ve used this basic yogurt cake recipe as a base (made with greek yogurt) which gives it a fluffy texture, and the flavor is so, so delicious. This cake not only tastes amazing, it also looks gorgeous on aNew Year’s Eve party table.

The preparation time is just 30 min and the recipe is very inexpensive – you have all the ingredients at home, you can even use overripe bananas!
13. No-Bake White Chocolate Cheesecake With Raspberries
Doesn’t this cheesecake remind you of a clock? That’s a great party food idea symbolizing the last minutes of the previous year and the first moments of the New Year.
12. Keto Energy Fat Bombs for New Years Party!
If you are looking for a low carb version of traditional appetizers for New Years party table, these little fat bombs will be perfect!
I love them because it’s so easy to make a batch ahead of time and pop them in the freezer and just pull them out whenever we need a quick snack.
They are so fantastic because they can be healthy and at the same time satisfy the desire for something sweet. They are a perfect marriage between dates and coconut.
11. Keto & Sugar-Free Mini Pavlova
These Mini Pavlovas are a crispy dessert made into single servings. They are topped with a cream cheese frosting and fresh berries. The most amazing is that you can eat them with no-guilty because they are keto, low-carb and sugar-free.
In the last week, my youngest son had his speech therapy last session. I wanted to make a dessert for our Sunday family lunch. At the same time, I wanted something to offer my son’s therapist. These mini pavlovas are just perfect!
[ninja_form id=2]10. Keto No-Bake Coconut Bars
No-bake coconut bars made with homemade condensed milk are an easy, healthy and keto delicious dessert that can satisfy your craving for sweet!
When it comes to desserts, I love easy recipes. But I have to admit that I like them fancy. On weekdays I don´t have much time and patience to prepare something fancy. That’s why I love this recipe. It´s really easy and quick to make and I think that they are perfect for kids.
This dessert is one that I love to make because it requires ingredients that usually I have in my pantry and in the other hand I don´t need to use a mixer! You can totally make these by hand, with a whisk, and a wooden spoon. These coconut bars do not require any baking, it comes together with only a few ingredients and most importantly, it is intensely, supremely satisfying.
I like to make these coconut bars for special occasions, but they’re really great for even a casual weekday.
9. Salted Chocolate Frozen Banana Bites
There’s something about the texture that gets perfectly sweet and chewy when they are frozen that my friends and I loved!!! Maybe the Bluths were onto something…
My friends and I are going to pretend like we’re college students and stay up all night to watch. Bring on the coffee!
8. Disco Truffles For New Year’s Eve
It’s almost New Year’s Eve, y’all! Time to do what Prince says and party like it’s 1999. So switch out those smart phones for brick-sized cell phones, blast the Ricky Martin tunes, and let’s all invest in some dot-coms or something. Yesss!
It’s a little funny that I’m sharing a New Year’s Eve party recipe, because I am so not the NYE partying type. My “biggest” NYE experience was probably the time I spent New Year’s in Trafalgar Square in London. Picture huge crowds pressing in on each other, everyone drunk and boisterous and yelling, DJs playing music, people dancing and singing, and every single person taking turns blowing their smoke in my face. [True story. I think there was a sign-up sheet being passed around.]
Despite my secondhand emphysema, it wasn’t all bad. I went with a group of friends and we ended up having a fun time, but it did reinforce my anti-social tendencies, and since then I’ve kept my New Year’s Eve activities a lot more low-key.
7. Sparkling Jello Jigglers
Sparkling Jello Jigglers make such a beautiful dessert that you can be dressed up or dress down depending on the sprinkles you choose. You could even leave the sprinkles off and they will still look great. These are definitely a step up from traditional jello jigglers with the fizzy juice inside!
Not many people I’ve asked remember that Jello made sparkling white grape jello back in the 90’s. Do you remember it? It was always my favorite thing to make for New Years and I am surprised it that they don’t make it anymore. I knew I needed to try and recreate it for New Years Eve and so I made my own version.
6. Shrimp Taco Bites – Perfect Finger Food Idea
The combination of the creamy avocado, smoky sour cream and the zippy chili-lime shrimps on top of that crunchy little chip is like a party in your mouth.
I originally planned on making these bold little bites in a baked wonton wrapper, but after I made the wonton wrapper and tasted it… uhh… let’s just say I quickly grabbed a bag of tortilla chips nearby (because I always have tortilla chips nearby) and dumped the filling onto the crunchy chip.
Beautiful.

5. Mini Parfaits for New Year’s Celebration
Sparkling Mini Parfaits~ a festive and party size dessert~ easy to assemble and alter with your ingredients, making them as fancy or simple as you like!
For quick assembly, I started with pound cake from the grocery store I cut in cubes,
but you could use any flavor of cake or even cupcakes.
Layer your cake of choice with lemon curd, custard or pudding, chocolate fudge or ganache,
add some fruit if you like, top with whipped cream and some gold sparkling sugar!
The controversial silver dragées have been used for cake and cookie decoration
for years and add a little festive sparkle of silver for New Year’s.
I don’t use them on a regular basis so I wasn’t worried about the small quantity in the parfaits,
but if you’re concerned, eliminate them and stick with sanding sugar in silver and gold instead.
The raspberry and balsamic team up to throw a pretty awesome party in your mouth. These would also make a great Christmas or New Year’s Eve appetizer.
I have no plans to make elaborate meals this week. With a little planning though we won’t starve. These meatballs are a really good option for busy shopping days. (Or, in my case, busy baking days. Let’s be real. Who has time for dinner when there are Christmas cookies on the line.)
They only take a few minutes to throw together, but they taste awesome. Raspberry and balsamic vinegar sure make each other sing. The ginger, green onions, and sesame add a fun Asian twist.
This is the recipe I use for the meatballs. I love them because you don’t have to chop anything; just throw it all together.
3. Brie with Almonds for Holiday Party Idea
This nut-topped cheese is elegant and impressive for holiday occasions. No one will guess that the recipe is actually a snap to prepare.
2. Gruyere and Crab Palmiers – New Years Eve Appetizer
I keep these little bursts of flavor in my freezer so they can be pulled out and popped into the oven at a moment’s notice. Crab, pancetta and Gruyere make an elegant appetizer, and you can make your own variations of the filling. Try chicken and pesto, or a Mediterranean version with spinach and feta.
1. Grilled Thai Spice Chicken Sliders – Easy to Prepare Sweet and Spicy Perfect Appetizer
These Thai Spice Chicken Sliders were polished off in minutes. OK, maybe seconds.Serve these hot little numbers for appetizers or as a main course. What makes these burgers so special? Ahhhh so glad you asked. Well to start, ground chicken is mixed with all kinds of Thai spices & seasonings.
