What do you imagine or visualize when you think about Fall? I think about the warm weather, cranking up the oven, and baking some warm and delicious desserts partnered up with a hot chocolate drink. Yes, Fall is definitely the baking season of the year. You will most likely smell warm spices and baked goods once you pass by houses.

How to make Fall cookies
Definitely the easiest and least time consuming warm baked goods to make this season are cookies! Whether you are hosting a party or get-together during the Fall or you just want something warm while you cozy up on your couch while reading a book, Fall cookies are your best companion! And no, it does not take rocket science to make your own cookies. You just need a few Fall-related ingredients (pumpkin, perhaps), and you are good to go!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar

1 large egg
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
DIRECTIONS

Whisk together flour, baking soda, pumpkin spice, and salt in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla extract until fully combined, then add the flour.
Beat on low until raw flour starts to appear, then mold into chocolate chips.
