CHRISTMAS TREATS FOR KIDS

20. Festive Christmas Matcha Mousse Cake on a Keto Red Velvet Base

Christmas matcha mousse cake is a gorgeous three-layer cake made with matcha and vanilla mousse, all on a keto red velvet cake. It´s totally a show stopper for your holidays.

I always wanted to make a dessert using matcha tea and I was so obsessed with it that I couldn’t stop thinking of ways to use matcha on a dessert.

Christmas time is around the corner, and I’m really anxious to move into Christmas baking. So, I wanted to create a dessert for my table at Christmas dinner. Joining these two wishes came up this amazing mousse cake made with this matcha green tea.

It’s a form of green tea that’s been enjoyed in China and Japan for hundreds of years. The leaves are made into a powder that’s far stronger than regular tea, so a little can go a long way.
Antioxidants are substances in foods that can help protect your cells from damage. Catechins, an antioxidant in matcha, may help with low blood pressure and the “bad” cholesterol. It also may help to protect your cells against cancer.

Matcha and vanilla mousse cake is low carb, keto, sugar-free and completely healthy. You can have a dessert that is going to impress your guests without the guilty complaining.

This cake is more simple to make than you can imagine because all of the mousse layers are made exactly the same way!

These cookies are fantastic. It is not often that my kids eat a plain sugar cookie without any type of icing, and these were delicious in every way a sugar cookie should be. They’re soft, chewy, buttery, and sweet, these are the essence of what every sugar cookie aspires to become.

16. Christmas Tree Brownies – Easy Christmas Treat for Kids

Recall that sensation of wonder and excitement as you stroll through the Christmas section, everything shimmering and inviting, almost urging you to buy it all? (Surely, I’m not alone in this feeling?) During my university days, my sister and I lived together in a townhouse. Our first Christmas there was a memorable one. We ventured to the local hardware store and came back with a Christmas tree, glittering tinsel, and an abundance of ornaments. And when I say abundance, I mean we lavishly decorated our tree with an array of ornaments and twinkling lights.

That year marked our first unsupervised foray into the magical, sparkling Christmas section. We were utterly enchanted by each item we picked, resulting in a tree without a single bare branch. Brimming with pride, we eagerly invited our parents and grandparents over for dinner, just so they could witness and appreciate our very first self-decorated Christmas tree.

Although we were both students and budget-conscious, the joy it brought us was immeasurable. Fast forward 15 years, and that same tree, adorned with many of those original ornaments (and some new additions over the years), is what my husband and I set up annually. The ornaments were later divided between my sister and me, ensuring each of us had plenty to decorate our own trees with our shared memories.
