It is easy to make stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer since you will not need tons of cooking equipment – just a few mixing bowls and your air fryer is enough! But if you want more tips to get the best results for your savory mushrooms, then I have some more notes for you:

  • Use more meat if you want extra protein. You can use turkey bacon, ground beef or pork, and more for your filling.
  • You can prepare and stuff your mushrooms beforehand and freeze them before you plan to cook them. However, the best taste and results will still be achieved when you use fresh mushrooms.
  • Add whichever garnish you want. You can use paprika or jalapeno if you want more spice.
  • Even if your mushrooms are packaged, it would still be best to rinse them under cold water to remove any excess dirt. Be careful not to soak the mushrooms.
  • Do not overcrowd your stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer so that they will all cook evenly and perfectly. Cook in batches if necessary.
