China is home to beautiful traditions, lore, and festivals. And one of their most important celebrations is the Chinese New Year – also called the Lunar New Year. Generally, Chinese New Year is celebrated for sixteen days (from the Chinese New Year to the Lantern Festival). While most Westerners associate ‘Chinese New Year’ with parades in Chinatown and a delicious banquet, the holiday’s traditions differ per region. And if you plan on celebrating this holiday at home with your family, then here are 15 fun Chinese New Year activities everyone will enjoy!
