Are the holidays coming up and you need to make holiday-themed decor? Maybe it’s someone’s birthday and you want some colorful accents on the dining table. Or you simply want to change the look or add more personality to your home. If that is the case, it is time to go to your nearest Dollar Tree store and make something new for (basically) free! With that in mind, here are 21 budget-friendly Dollar Tree DIY projects you can easily do! 

21. Easy Mummy Wreath DIY

The inspiration for this wreath came from a simple Paper Plate Mummy craft I made with my kids. You can check that craft out here. I loved the simple, fun look of that kids paper plate craft and decided to make a wreath version for my front door.  Here’s what I bought at the Dollar Tree to make this wreath: 3 packages of creepy cloth, skeleton hands and google eyes.

20. Super Easy Cinammon Candles

All you need for this project are cinnamon sticks, candles, a rubber band, and twine. It is literally the easiest decoration to put together but will really add a nice touch and smell to your home.

19. Upcycled Bread Pan Planter

I love having fresh flowers in the house. But I also love crafting with silk flowers. It’s fun to make a centerpiece that will last for an entire season instead of just a few days. I’ve been wanting some kind of long and low that would be great for the kitchen table. I prefer shorter centerpieces when eating so that everyone can see each other, I think it makes the conversation easier. When I realized I had an old pan that I didn’t want to bake with anymore rather than toss it out I turned it into my ideal dining room centerpiece.
